There are so many things to consider when buying mobility products it is likely that you will have lots of questions.  Below you will find some of the most frequently asked questions.  If you do not find the answer you are looking for please contact us by clicking here and we will answer your queries by email.  Alternatively give us a call and click here to find our contact numbers.  

Do you sell used wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters?
Yes we sell both used and new equipment.  Please give us a call to see what we have in stock. 

How will I know how to use my new product?
We will assemble your equipment and show you how to use it correctly.  Also if you have any questions afterwards you can always give us a call.

How will I know what product is right for me?
When you contact Abbey Health we will discuss all your individual needs.  We consider your height, weight, lifestyle, and when and where the product will be used.  You can try out most of the products before you buy i.e. scooters, beds, rollators, and chairs.

I need a scooter that I can fit in the back of my car, do you sell these?
Yes, we have a range of scooters and power chairs that could fit in a car boot.  It is best if we talk to you to find out which is most suitable for your needs. 

If I buy mobility equipment from Abbey Health would you be able to service it for me?
Yes.  We have a workshop next to our shop in Northallerton where we service all mobility equipment.  We can arrange to pick up larger pieces of equipment and return them to you.
